FutureFERNS Year 3&4 (5v5)

2024 Season:

It is important that we align with Netball New Zealand’s Future Fern programme. We will trust in the Netball New Zealand programme, which has significant research behind it, and deliver it accordingly.

Registrations:

Waiuku Netball Centre will take individual registrations for the 2024 season for our Year 3-4 players to play 5v5 netball.

Registration forms have been distributed to the clubs, schools, on our facebook page and our website. This will help with continuity in the future when the children are old enough to play directly for their club. We will accept registrations throughout the season.

We will endeavour to keep children from the same schools in teams together. Please note that this will be dependent on numbers and parent helpers. Players will be placed in their appropriate year level.

Week 2 - 11th May
Week 3 - 18th May
Week 4 - 25th May
No Play - King's Birthday - 1st June
Week 5 - 8th June
Week 6 - 15th June
Week 7 - 22th June
No Play - Matariki - 29th June
Week 8 - 6th July
No Play - School Holidays - 13th July
Week 9 - 20th July (Tournament)
Week 10 - 27th July
Week 11 - 3rd August
Week 12 - 10th August
Week 13 - 17th August
Week 14 - 24th August (Festival Day)
This programme will 100% be finished by the 24th of August.

The last day of the programme, will be a festival day with a celebration of participation in the Future Ferns programme.
