YR 7 & YR 8 PDP TOURNAMENT

Sunday 11th August 2024 - Waiuku Netball Centre

As part of the Player Development Programme, Waiuku Netball Centre are holding a tournament for Year 7 and 8 players.

Grades:

All teams entered must be made up of players who have either participated in a Player Development Program at any Netball Centre in New Zealand or are currently playing in a Year 7/8 team, primary school grades.
Teams are not to be mixed and must be either all Year 7 or all Year 8 players. Preference will be given to teams consisting solely of Year 7 OR Year 8 students. However, if there is sufficient interest, we may consider forming a mixed Year 7 and Year 8 grade.

Game information:

All teams must supply their own umpire, bibs and match ball.
At Waiuku Netball Centre we support the development of new umpires so teams are welcome to use their own year 7 or 8 players that have completed their initial umpire certificate. New umpires are encouraged to do the online learning and must have an adult or qualified umpire assisting them.
Teams will have a minimum of 2 games beginning from 9am (2 x 10 minute halves)
Rolling subs are permitted – we encourage fair court time for all players and movement of positions as per the New Zealand Future Fern recommendations
No uniform is required – however teams must have matching bibs.
All Waiuku Netball Centre policies and procedures must be followed.

Cost: $50 per team (Payment can be made to Waiuku Netball Centre 06-0477-0013247-00)
