Game Day Duty Roster 2024

	DUTY TEAM (GREEN VESTS) Wear a green vest (alongside our Exec, Comp Team / Position Holders) and be available to answer any questions and ensure centre activities are under control. You don’t have to have all the answers, just be the first point of contact for any queries and you can direct people to the Control Room or a committee member if needed. Full day unless otherwise stated.		DUTY CLUB Responsible for setting up in the morning, packing down at the end of the day and checking all facilities are maintained throughout the day (bathrooms, rubbish bins, canteen area). See link below for full list of duties. NOTE – Morning Duty club is responsible for checking that the Yr3&4 Future Ferns isn’t cancelled due to the weather (check Facebook page). If it is cancelled, you need to come at 8:30am to set up the courts fully (refer Yr3&4 Future Ferns duty list)

	TASK	NOTES
1	> Put 1 small goal hoop up on one end of each court > Court 3&4 will have their hoops already up and may just need twisting around – (please do not lift it out of the ground) > Each court also requires a portable goal	> Portable goals and sandbags are stored under the grandstand > Hoops are stored upstairs in the Control Room
2	> Put goal pads around all goal posts	> Goal pads are stored under the grandstand on a mobile ‘A’ frame > Please wheel frame out but not on to court
3	> Put speakers up > Minimum of 2 people must assist with this task	> Speakers are stored in the Control Room > Please take care using the mobile ladder platform > Access the speaker poles from court 6 (double speaker set) and court 4 (three speaker set)
4	> Assist with the baskets and ball bags to go out to each court	> These are stored in the downstairs of the pavilion
5	> Put green rubbish bins on each court	> Bins are stored under the grandstand > Please ensure there is a bin liner inside in each bin
6	> Put wooden benches around courtside on each court	> Benches are stored under the grandstand
7	> At the end of the yr3&4 Future Ferns session, please put away the small goal hoops, portable goals, baskets, and ball bags	> Portable goals are to go back under the grandstand, baskets and ball bags to go back downstairs in the pavilion > Please leave small goal hoops out on courts 3&4

	TASK	NOTES
1	> Empty rubbish bins during the morning if they are full	> Put full bags into general green wheelie bins near the front gates > Recycling in the wheelie bin with a yellow lid
2	> Check toilet paper in toilets and refill as required > Check soap and hand paper towel dispensers	> Key to open the toilet paper holders, soap and hand paper towel dispensers is in the Control Room > Supplies are in the storeroom, key for storeroom is in the Control Room
3	> Put speakers up > Minimum of 2 people must assist with this task	> Speakers are stored in the Control Room > Please take care using the mobile ladder platform > Access the speaker poles from court 6 (double speaker set) and court 4 (three speaker set)
4	> Check that there is a bin in the toilets for used paper hand towels
5	> Set up table and chairs downstairs in the canteen area	> 4 x trestle tables with chairs around each table
6	> Check the canteen area and toilets are kept tidy during the morning	> Please ensure someone checks all of this and the bins before you finish duty at 12:30pm

	TASK	NOTES
1	> Check eating area is tidy throughout the afternoon	> Put full bags into general green wheelie bins near the front gates > Recycling in the wheelie bin with a yellow lid
2	> Check toilet paper in toilets and refill as required > Check soap and hand paper towel dispensers	> Key to open the toilet paper holders, soap and hand paper towel dispensers is in the Control Room > Supplies are in the storeroom, key for storeroom is in the Control Room
3	AT THE END OF THE DAY > Pick up rubbish around courts, grandstand, and bathrooms	> Discard any drink bottles left on the court and put lost property with the lost property downstairs in the pavilion
4	> Collect green bins off court and place full bags into green wheelie bins near the gate > Please us as few bins as possible	> Place new liners in green rubbish bins and put bins back under the grandstand > Bins liners are kept in the storeroom
5	> Take speakers down > Minimum of 2 people must assist with this task	> Please take care using the mobile ladder platform > Access the speaker poles from court 6 (double speaker set) and court 4 (three speaker set) > Return speakers to the Control Room
6	> Take goal pads down	> Please wheel ‘A’ frame out but not onto courts and place goal pads on it > ‘A’ frame is stored under the grandstand
7	> Stack chairs and tables in canteen area	> Stack these in the corner of the canteen
8	> Sweep canteen area	> Broom in storeroom
